SIMACO permaInk technology ensures excellent adhesion on PE and PP

The SIMACO® GMBH company a well–known manufacturer and innovative developer of printing inks for industrial inkjet printers based in Burgbrohl, Germany will introduce new and established products at the FachPack exhibition.

The new SIMACO permaInk passes the wipe test.

The new requirements of the food marking regulation (LMKV – Lebensmittel Kennzeichnungsverordnung) that the best–before date must be applied on the packaging so that it cannot be wiped away will not be met by many well–known inkjet coding methods on popular packaging made of polyolefines (PE, PP). SIMACO has taken on this challenge and developed a new product for this task with excellent adhesion and resistance on polyolefines. The new SIMACO permaInk technology produces very good moistening and adhesion without having to pretreat the surface in any way on surfaces with slight surface tension where conventional inks only provide insufficient adhesion and resistance when the surfaces have not been pretreated with plasma or corona.
